Design process:
Each student drew his or her own dragon design/color scheme. We reviewed the designs and favorite elements were pulled out for the final design, which the students then colored in.
Painting process:
Ellen gridded and transferred the final drawing onto 5 4' x 5' boards, and the studetns painted them. It was a 6 week process for 2 classes, meeting once weekly for 90 minutes each.
