ARTIST STATEMENT
I paint to create joy in my own world, and hopefully in others lives as well. Bright colors give me a sense of possibility, and give me hope that each day will bring new ideas for ways to connect with my community.
When visiting my studio, or a show, you’ll view vibrant nature-inspired art on recycled fence boards, wood, and canvas. I also paint residential/commercial murals, and direct mural projects at many Bay Area schools.
It began with impressionistic watercolors in Elementary School, oil painting in Middle/High school, a Bachelors in Illustration/Graphic design, 40 years as a self employed designer/illustrator, and the last 25 as a community muralist and fine artist.
I live and work in El Granada, CA
