Murals   June-August 2022
“Hope for the World Cure”

Beginning in June, I'll be co-directing the restoration of the first Community mural I worked on, “Hope for the World Cure”, (originally painted in 1998), with Susan Cervantes, Master Muralist/Founder of Precita Eyes Mural Center, SF.  The mural, located at Market/15th Street in the Castro, is one of the most potent public art works about the chaos and solidarity of AIDS in San Francisco and worldwide.  In December 2021, approximately one-third of the two-story mural was defaced with graffiti. ​More here…
